How it works

Finding the right place for a parent is a lot to carry alone. Here's what working together looks like, from the first phone call to moving day.

  1. We talk it through

Call or send a message. Tell me what's happening, what your loved one needs, your budget, and where you'd like them to be. No cost, no pressure.

  2. I narrow the options

I match care needs, personality, and budget to the communities and homes I know, and bring you a short list that fits.

  3. We tour together

I schedule the visits and come with you, so you can focus on how each place feels while I ask the questions that matter.

  4. I stay through move-in

From paperwork to moving day, I help coordinate the details and answer questions as they come up.

What to expect on the first call

It's a conversation, not a sales pitch. I'll ask about your loved one: their health and mobility, what a good day looks like for them, what worries you most, your budget, and where family lives. You'll ask me anything you like.

Helpful to have nearby, if you can:

  • A general sense of monthly budget and how care will be paid for (savings, long-term care insurance, VA benefits, Medicaid)
  • Any discharge date from a hospital or rehab
  • Who else in the family is part of the decision

Don't worry if you don't have all of it. We'll figure it out together.

Services

  • Personalized senior living assessments

We talk through care needs, routines, personality, budget, and location so every option on the list is a real fit.

  • Assisted living placement

Communities that help with daily routines like bathing, dressing, and medications.

  • Memory care placement

Secure, specially trained care for Alzheimer's and other dementias.

  • Independent living guidance

Active-adult and retirement communities for seniors who want less to manage and more company.

  • Adult family home referrals

Licensed homes in regular neighborhoods with a small number of residents.

  • Community tours

I schedule the visits and come with you.

  • Care coordination

Help lining up the pieces: paperwork, assessments, and communication with the community.

  • Transition support

Guidance through the decision, the logistics, and the emotions of a move.

  • Local resource recommendations

Movers, elder law attorneys, and other local help when you need it.

  • Ongoing support through move-in

I'm there until your loved one is settled.

My help is always free to families. When your loved one moves into a community or adult family home I've introduced you to, that community or home pays me a referral fee. That fee does not change what you pay.

If you choose a place I didn't introduce, or decide not to move at all, you still owe me nothing.

What that means for you

  • You always make the final choice. My job is to help you see your options clearly.
  • I'll tell you what I know about each place, including the questions worth asking.
  • Before any referral, you'll get a written disclosure explaining how I'm compensated.

Questions about any of this? Ask me on our first call. I'm glad to walk through it.
